The Bar and Grill at James Street South
The Bar and Grill at James Street South Restaurant opened its doors in November 2011 and is an exciting addition to Belfast's restaurant scene. Set in an old linen mill, it draws its inspiration from the great steak houses of New York and French-inspired brasseries. The Bar and Grill brings the Josper grill to Belfast, offering casual dining on local produce, cooked to perfection. Put simply, the restaurant aims to serve great food, every day.
Located within walking distance of Belfast's main tourist attractions of the Crown Bar, the Europa Hotel, the City Hall and the main transport links of the Europa Bus Station, The Bar and Grill offers you a friendly and relaxed dining experience from 12pm to 9.30pm daily.
The Bar and Grill offers an exciting, seasonal and local menu with something to suit all palates and the friendly service ensures that you have a great meal whether you are in for a quick bite after work or a lazy lunch with your friends. With the addition of a Josper grill, their aim is to offer the best cooked steaks in Ireland, charcoal grilled to give a distinctive taste and texture.
Opened by the team behind James Street South Restaurant, the aim at The Bar and Grill is to be your favourite local eatery serving outstanding local food with great service. In the eyes of FoodBelfast.com - this was as close to flawlessness as anywhere in the country will get to with a steak dinner. Watch out Belfast, there's a new king in town and his name is Josper!
