The Wee Tram
In 1912 Titanic's builders travelled to the shipyard by tram… Now you can take your own tram ride through the past, present and future of Titanic Quarter on board our unique wee tram. Hop on and off as often as you like, explore Titanic’s birthplace and see the shipyard come to life!
The Wee Tram is a fantastic way to see all the sights of Titanic’s historic shipyard. Travelling in carriages based on the funky red-and-cream tram cars that ran through the shipyard in Titanic’s day, passengers get a full tour (with audio-visual material and a live guide) around the beautiful, historic docks where Titanic was born - and also get up close and personal to the modern shipyard, including the massive Samson and Goliath cranes.
Highlights on the tour include Titanic’s slipways, HMS Caroline, Titanic Studios (home of Game Of Thrones), Titanic’s Dock and Pump House (the ship’s footprint in history - the last place she stood on dry ground), Samson and Goliath, the Harland and Wolff Drawing Offices, and SS Nomadic, Titanic’s little sister ship.
The tour starts and ends at Titanic Belfast, the world’s largest Titanic visitor attraction, and makes a perfect complement to your visit to the exhibition - or a great day out in its own right.
Passengers even get to don a duncher (the shipyard man’s flat cap) during their tram tour for a bit of authentic tram style!
Departs from Titanic Belfast and SS Nomadic every half hour from 12pm - 5pm.
- Adults £5
- Concessions £4
