Belfast Halloween Monster Mash and Fireworks Display

Description

Belfast's biggest and best Halloween event and fireworks display takes place on Sunday 29 October from 4pm - 7pm at The Slipways, Titanic Belfast.

Dust off your broomstick for an evening of carnival capers, spooky street theatre, macabre music, wicked workshops and fearsome fire juggling.

This year's theme is Day of the Dead and little ghouls and scary skeletons of all ages can come along in their creepy carnival outfits or monstrous magical ones.

Activities

Beginning at 4pm, the entertainment line-up will feature:

  • an array of street theatre and walkabouts
  • breath-taking fire shows and jugglers
  • arts and crafts workshops
  • mini fearsome fairground rides
  • scary samba and Day of the Dead dancers
  • live music on stage from The Unusual Suspects
  • a range of hot food, drinks, scary sweets and Halloween tasty treats available for purchase.

Alongside event media partner Q Radio, the Q street team will be out and about amongst the crowd to select the best fancy dress outfits on the night, with some fang-tastic prizes up for grabs.

The eerie evening will draw to a close with the largest fireworks display in the city, set to a carnival party samba soundtrack. Fireworks will begin at approximately 6.45pm and are due to last for 15 minutes.

Ghost Shuttle Bus

A free ghost shuttle bus will operate to and from the event.

Outward journey: 3.45pm - 6.15pm. Buses depart from Chichester Street (outside SS Moore's) every 15 minutes and will drop off on Queen's Road.

Return journey: 7pm - 8pm - Buses will leave Queen's Road at the Titanic Film Studios and drop off beside the Belfast City Hall at Donegall Square West.
