Belfast MasterChef Challenge 2017
Welcome to The Balmoral Hotel’s inaugural Belfast Master Chef Challenge where amateur chefs are invited to step up to the plate in an exciting, live event. Four finalists will cook up a storm at the Ballroom in front of a packed Balmoral audience in a bid to claim the Master Chef title.
The Balmoral Hotel’s inaugural Belfast Master Chef Challenge will see four foodie finalists fight it out for the coveted title in front of a live audience at the venue as part of Feile an Phobail on August 3. The winner will be decided by a panel of experts as well as an audience vote with proceeds from that process going to Children In Need.
Finalists, who will be given an hour and 15 minutes to prepare their signature dish, will be pitched against three of their contemporaries in the live one course cook-off with the runners up also receiving prizes.
The final four will be chosen by David O’Callaghan, head chef of the Balmoral’s Seasons restaurant and Lady Anne Brasserie who, along with his team will guide the amateur chefs in refining their dishes for the live event. The process, he explains, begins with a simple application form.
To enter this unique event, download an application form from www.balmoralhotelbelfast.co.uk or request an application form by emailing email@example.com. All application forms must be returned by Friday 30 June at 5pm.
Ten contestants will be notified if they have made it to the semi-final stage by Tuesday 4 July.
Audience tickets, which cost £15 include complimentary drinks and food, are available by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 028 9061 1915.
