Ghouls and Gruffalos Welly Walk
Join Colin Glen Forest Park on Friday 27 October – Wednesday 1 November for a story telling session of the best selling children's book before meandering through the forest on a guided forest walk from their energetic staff while you try to find the ghosts and ghouls en route. On return to the forest park building you can pick your own pumpkin from the Pumpkin Patch and carve it into your own lantern to use for Halloween. On departure, collect your 'I have met the Gruffalo Certificate' and sticker.
The ticket price is for children only - accompanying adults and under 2s go free. This event is a wonderful way to spend time with the children and experience the delights of Colin Glen Forest Park.

Additional informationPlease note that Colin Glen Forest Park is quite hilly, so please bring water and protection from the sun. There is a cafe on site with toilets and refreshments. The Colin Glen gift shop will be open to visit on return to the main building.
Colin Glen Forest Park encourage visitors to 'take only photographs and leave only footprints' - please be mindful of the environment and take any rubbish with you as you go.

Directions to Colin Glen Forest Park
From Belfast - Head south on Westlink (A12), continuing onto the M1. - Exit at Junction 3 (Dunmurry/Finaghy/A1). - Turn right onto Blacks Road at the bottom of the slip road. - Continue straight until the T-junction. - Turn left onto Stewartstown Road. - Through one traffic light. - Colin Glen Forest Park Centre will be on the right.
