The Great War Exhibition 1914 - 1918
Now in its third year running, the annual Great War Exhibition at Rockies Sports Bar houses a collection of WWI artefacts from around the globe. Many countries are represented, including Japan, Australia, the USA, Canada, Great Britain, France, Germany and Russia.
As the owner of the only Canadian Sports Bar in Northern Ireland, the Great War Exhibition was inspired by the personal journey of Jim Graves, whose grandfather James Drummond served with the Royal Canadian Regiment during the conflict. James, whose military photo is located at the entrance to the exhibition, was wounded in France in August 1916 and was returned to England to recover.
The WWI items on show originate from many countries around the world, with each piece telling a story from its own corner of the war.
This exhibition supports the British Legions Poppy Appeal and the War Years Remembered Charity.
Admission to the exhibition is free.
