Head to the Crescent Arts Centre for the ultimate Christmas classic: It’s a Wonderful Life. George Bailey has so many problems he is thinking about ending it all – and it’s Christmas! But then his guardian angel shows George what his town would have looked like if it hadn’t been for all his good deeds over the years.

The Snowman
13 December, No Alibis Bookshop
As part of the Cinemagic Film Festival, No Alibis Bookshop on Botanic Avenue will be screening classic animation The Snowman. It tells the story of a boy and his snowman who comes to life to take him on a journey to the North Pole! It will be followed by a screening on The Snowman and the Snowdog, in which a friendly snow dog joins the magical adventure.

Queen’s Film Theatre
QFT is a unique, independent cinema that offers an amazing line-up of film experiences throughout the year, adding to it with plenty of festive favourites for the Christmas season. As well as their traditional screenings of  It’s a Wonderful Life and Die Hard, you can see Elf, Muppet Christmas Carol, Home Alone and a White Christmas Singalong!
