Our distilleries have a world-class reputation with Jawbox, Shortcross and Belfast 1912 gins among the some of the names made here. Take a tour then enjoy a local gin and tonic.

VB Shortcross

Rademon Estate

Rademon Estate is the birthplace of Shortcross Gin, Northern Ireland’s first craft gin and now the most awarded gin in the island of Ireland. Book a guided tour to learn about how it’s created; they harvest local botanicals and use fresh water from the distillery well to create its smooth and aromatic taste. Then enjoy a drink in Shortcross Gin Bar and browse in the Distillery Shop.

Echlinville Distillery

Set in the stunning, mature countryside of the Ards Peninsula, Echlinville Distillery is a must-visit for gin fans. The estate is home to the Jawbox and Echlinville Gin brands, and was the first licensed distillery in Northern Ireland in over 125 years. They also produce Drumville & Co whiskey and Ban Poitin. Join a guided tour and enjoy a taste of the exquisite spirits afterwards.


Belfast Gin and Spirits School

Why not try making your own gin at the Belfast Gin and Spirits School? You’ll have the chance to blend your own recipe using a base spirit and botanicals to create a drink you can take home. The school is located 39 Gordon Street and offers classes in whiskey, rum and calvados too. Enjoy bespoke cocktails as part of the experience, along with gin-infused sweet treats.

Copeland Distillery

Just a short drive from Belfast you’ll find the Copeland Distillery, located in the small coastal town of Donaghadee where tales of old smugglers and ocean battles meet the shore. See the history unfold on a guided tour of the distillery, where Copeland crafts classic Irish and flavoured gin using their unique spirit-making methods.
