Spend the day visiting over 140 species of mammals, birds and reptiles, including giraffes, bears, penguins and sea lions. Or take the newly created Belfast Zoo Outdoor Trek and enjoy 52 acres of beautiful grounds where you can see resident animals and reconnect with nature.
We Are Vertigo and Vertigo Titanic Park

Epic indoor adventure awaits at We Are Vertigo, where there’s something to suit adrenaline junkies of all ages. Book an indoor skydiving session or conquer the ninja master course at Vertigo Titanic Park, or choose between the giant inflatable park, climbing course or indoor skiing at the Newtownbreda site. We Are Vertigo has also opened a new open air restaurant called CARGO in Belfast’s Titanic Quarter, where you can book a table in cosy tipi or container and enjoy stone-baked pizzas in the footprint of the Harland and Wolff cranes.

Inspired by the TV game show Crystal Maze, Prison Island is a totally unique concept in Northern Ireland. Form a team and solve challenges in 25 cells to see if you can ‘beat the bars’. The experience is suitable for families of all ages and promises plenty of action, adrenaline and adventure.

A selection of activities have reopened at Colin Glen Forest Park, including lazer tag, archery and the SKYTrek high ropes course as well as the golf course and TopTracer driving range. Colin Glen Forest Park is a beautiful glen located in the southwest of Belfast, in the heart of the Belfast Hills. Visitors can enjoy peaceful woodland walks and little ones can follow the Gruffalo Trail.

Thunder Park

If your kids would rather be on two wheels than two feet, Thunder Park is a must-visit! With 14,000 square feet of purpose-built ramps and obstacles, the park is a paradise for skateboard, BMX bike, scooter and freestyle mountain biking enthusiasts. The award-winning facility caters to all levels of ability, and coaching services and equipment are available. You’ll find Eddie Irvine Sports in the same facility, where little ones and grown-ups can race on one of Northern Ireland’s largest indoor karting tracks.
