This summer, get ready to explore Northern Ireland like never before. Step into ‘AMAZE’, W5’s brand new truly unique, technological space for the immersive experience of ‘Land of Legends’. The event will take visitors of all ages on a whirlwind tour through some of Northern Ireland’s most spectacular landscapes and uncover some thrilling tales along the way.
Pirate Takeover at HMS Caroline

Ahoy me hearties, get ready for a pirate takeover this summer at HMS Caroline! Step on board and test your sea legs as you experience life at sea over 100 years ago. Explore the ship with the Pirate Treasure Trail and see if you can find all the clues hidden throughout HMS Caroline, you can even find out if you are destined to become a sailor or a pirate!
Family Fun Day at The Jungle
Similar to a fun-fair, The Jungle’s Family Fun Day is an open-park day and offers a range of outdoor activities by token. As you explore the many activity ideas on your family day out in Northern Ireland, you will notice the range of curious creatures which call The Jungle home.

Belfast Pride Festival 2019
26 July – 4 August
Belfast Pride Festival is one of the biggest festivals in Belfast and runs over 100 events across 10 days in a celebration of the LGBTQA+ community. The parade is the biggest cross community celebration in the city, the main event in the LGBTQ calendar and one of the key events in the Belfast Pride festival. It is a protest and a celebration, a call for equality, a stand for solidarity and a celebration of the lives of LGBT people in Belfast and is about LGBT messages and expressing support for LGBT people.
Trad on the Square
Belfast Trad Fest presents their ultimate family fun day at Writer’s Square. The event will include live music, face painting, children’s workshops and fun for all ages.
Summer Rose Fair 2019
19 – 21 July
The Summer Rose Fair is a celebration of the international Rose Garden at Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park. It’s one of the world’s leading rose gardens, attracting thousands of visitors each year with its magnificent blooms. A full programme of events takes place in the park during the Summer Rose Fair, including music and a variety of entertainment for all ages.

The Open makes a historic return to Northern Ireland in 2019. Golf’s oldest and most international Championship returns after 68 years with the world’s greatest players competing for the Claret Jug at Royal Portrush.
