If you're a sports fan, your trip to Belfast won't be complete without a visit to Northern Ireland's only Canadian sports bar.

Rockies has over 500 sporting jerseys on display and is sure to have a piece of memorabilia from your favourite sport on show.
Visitors from around the world regularly enjoy the wide range of draught and bottled beers available, plus the cool wine selection.
A popular haunt for concert goers to the SSE Arena, Rockies balances the right music choices with the latest sporting events on several large TVs. For a challenge, try to beat the Canadian owner on his own pool table.

Ice Hockey Fans

Rockies has gained a reputation over the years as being one of the top ice hockey bars in Europe. Since opening in 2007, Rockies has served as the official sports bar to the Belfast Giants Ice Hockey Club. There is a section in the bar dedicated to the history of the club, with former player jerseys, photos and other items on show.

Memorabilia and Displays

A favourite area of Rockies for Canadian visitors is the record exhibit of no less than 52 Canadian university sweaters donated by all of the top schools in the country.
Check out the Sporting Legends Wall of Fame featuring photos of Irish born athletes that excelled in North American Sports. To date, there are six players who played pro hockey in the NHL, one player in pro American football NFL, one in pro basketball's NBA and 40 in pro baseball including Andy Leonard, who was the first Irish born ball player. The bar features his photo from 1870.
Rockies also boasts having one of the most famous dogs in Belfast, Patch. A USPCA rescue dog, Patch resides at Rockies and is a black and white collie cross who is on hand to meet and greet customers. He certainly steals the show.
In addition to sports items, Rockies is proud to display an array of military, police and fire artefacts from around the globe. During the recent World Police and Fire Games in Belfast, Rockies was quickly adopted as a regular bar for the various teams who donated a number of pieces for the displays.
Check out the Canadian Mounted Police uniform behind the bar, or the Canadian Airforce uniform that belonged to Rockies' owner's father.
After your experiences, what better way to continue your memories of Rockies than by purchasing one of their world-famous t-shirts or baseball caps? Long may you run!
