Prior to the big Stiff Little Fingers Custom House Square Homecoming gig on Saturday 16th August 2025 The Deadbeat Club has put together ''All We Wanna Do Is Rock'n'Roll'' featuring some of the best local bands around.
Headlining Protex need no introduction. They formed part of the Good Vibrations first wave of Belfast punk bands alongside Rudi, The Undertones and The Outcasts. Achieving cult status especially in America they reformed in 2010 due to the success of the Sing Sing Records compilation ''Strange Obsessions''. Since then they have toured Europe, America and Japan to great success.
Their last EP ''Four More From Protex'' has received rave reviews and healthy sales. Protex are one of the best punk power pop bands around. A.N.J.A. fronted by German born Anja Di Roma are on the rise and a band to watch out for - HOT PRESS MAGAZINE ''Explosive Onstage Talent'' YEO MAGAZINE ''Rising Punk Icon''. Come along and experience The Cult Of A.N.J.A. Not to be missed. Crackhead Control fronted by Billy Riot are one of the top local punk indie bands around at the minute.
They are about to release their third album ''Don't Dance With Septic Sheep'' so come along and check them out you won't be disappointed. Finally Goon Squad are a relatively new band featuring ex members of Stop Stop Start Again, Los Reyes and Thuh Hidebehinds. Their mix of raw garage punk blues will have you wanting more.
