Description

Aspects Irish Literature Festival returns to Bangor for its 28th year.

There are over 40 events on this year’s programme celebrating historic writing, poetry, crime-fiction, writing workshops, children’s events, politics, memoir, journalism, script-writing, short stories and exhibitions.

Back by popular demand are Aspects’ friends; Michael Longley, Fergal Keane and Malachi O’Doherty as well as local talent in Moyra Donaldson, Ian Sansom and Colin Bateman.

The Festival is also pleased to host the launch of Darina Allen’s new cookbook and Gerald Dawe’s latest poetry collection.
