Description

Northern Ireland’s largest agri-food event, The Balmoral Show will move from its usual May date for one year only and will instead take place from Wednesday 22 September to Saturday 25 September 2021.

Taking place at Balmoral Park, Lisburn from 22 to 25 September 2021, the Show prides itself on offering something for everyone.  Whether you’re looking for a family day out, fantastic food or the chance to see exceptional livestock displays, it’s all in the Show.

Tickets will be available from June 2021.

Main Arena Attractions

The Main Arena is packed with many exhilarating attractions over the 4 days of the Show, such as the exciting Bolddog Lings Freestyle Team. The Main Arena is also home to the International Show Jumping classes as well as the Polo Exhibition.

Livestock

Balmoral Show attracts top quality livestock, all competing for prized red rosettes and prestigious Balmoral Championship titles.  With over 3500 animals entered, the excellence and variety on display is unrivalled in Northern Ireland.  There are livestock classes for a variety of farm animals from cattle, pigs and goats to poultry and rabbits.
SPAR Entertainment Zone
The SPAR Entertainment Zone is a dedicated area for entertainment and fun for the whole family. Visitors can expect to be educated and entertained with a variety of acts.

Show Jumping
The Show Jumping programme kicks off on Wednesday morning with 3 National competitions. Riders have pre-qualified for these highly sought after classes.

International Show Jumping classes run over 3 days, Wednesday to Friday. Names such as Geoff Billington, Dermott Lennon and Greg Broderick are regular competitors.

Saturday sees the up-and-coming future stars compete in the Schools Show Jumping, the fast and furious Under 10's Grand Prix and finishes up with the Amateurs.

Children's Farm

The Children's Farm showcases an abundance of cute, cuddly baby farm animals.  Children are given the opportunity to hold, stroke and even feed the baby animals provided by Ark Open Farm.

Visitors also have the chance to meet snakes, tarantulas and more from Mantella - their aim is to bring you up close and personal to weird and wonderful animals from around the World with their popular Zoo-to-you Interactive Animal Encounters.
