Description

Belfast Traditional Music Trail runs every Saturday in Belfast’s vibrant and centrally located Cathedral Quarter.

The weekly public Trail lasts around 2.5 hours and runs every Saturday in Belfast’s vibrant and centrally located Cathedral Quarter. We start off at 4pm in the music room of the Second Fiddle, and finish up in a private room in one of Belfast’s oldest buildings, McHugh’s. There’ll be plenty of ceol agus craic (music and fun) in store and you might just want to bring your dancing shoes!

Total walking distance will be roughly 900m, including some stairs. The walking pace will be light and we aim to keep our group together at all times.

Should you wish to eat before embarking on the trail try the Yardbird chicken rotisserie restaurant upstairs at The Dirty Onion. If you wish to eat after the trail, McHugh’s restaurant serves great Irish cuisine with a modern twist. Exclusive Traditional Music Trail offers are available at both restaurants; see belfasttradtrail.com for details.

If planning to dine before the tour aim to finish at least ten minutes before commencement of the trail.

Children may be permitted on the tour but must remain under adult supervision at all times. Contact Belfast Traditional Music Trail in advance as the tour may not be suitable for younger children:  info@belfasttradtrail.com.

Climbing stairs will be necessary on the tour. If you have any concerns about accessibility or mobility, please get in contact with us before booking contact us at:info@belfasttradtrail.com.

Rates apply for private bookings. Tickets available at the Visit Belfast Welcome Centre, or to book tickets online, please visit www.belfasttradtrail.com
