Northern Ireland's best-loved artist, Terry Bradley, is bringing his unique approach to art and art galleries to Belfast city centre this Christmas.
Bradley, who opened a highly successful gallery in Bangor a couple of years ago, will be exhibiting a wide range of his work, including originals, limited edition canvases, prints and other items with the unique Terry Bradley treatment, at a 'pop-up' unit in Victoria Square.
Amongst the items on show and on sale is an innovative and creative range of Terry Bradley handbags.
The Bradley In Belfast gallery is already open to the public, but will be officially launched at a reception on Thursday 21 November, between 6pm and 8pm.
Terry Bradley has become one of the most sought-after artists on the island of Ireland, but remains something of a maverick of the art world here. He's a firm believer that art should be accessible to everyone. His work uses his own emotional experiences and translates them into his paintings so that other people can relate to the emotion and to themselves.
“Art galleries should always be welcoming, warm and available to everyone, whatever their interests and whatever their means,” he says. “We're happy to welcome a wide range of visitors to our gallery in Bangor, and we're looking forward to doing the same in the city centre.”
The Bradley In Belfast gallery is on the Lower Ground Floor at Victoria Square, opposite the Hollister store, and is open during normal centre opening hours on the run-up to Christmas.
