Description

The Linen Quarter BID is holding a sustainability event to highlight what the future holds and what actions we need to take for the environment.

Climate change is such an important topic and the event will not only give attendees a better understanding of what’s going on now, there will also be discussions on the overall promotion of a sustainable Belfast.

Join the Linen Quarter BID for a keynote speech from Jonathan Porritt, a global advocate for sustainable development, and leading writer, broadcaster and commentator. In the wake of the Climate Breakdown protests, Jonathan will highlight what the future holds and what decisions we need to make.

The event will be hosted by local broadcaster Mark Simpson and will include music, stand-up comedy and vigorous debate. For the first time the Feile, Eastside Arts and the Linen Quarter BID are combining to help promote #sustainablebelfast – an issue that unites us all.
