Book launch of Transatlantic Lives: The Irish Experience in Colonial America and lunchtime talk by Linde Lunney.

PRONI and the Ulster Historical Foundation (UHF) would like to invite you to a presentation by Dr Linde Lunney on the subject of emigrant connections with North America. The presentation will take place at PRONI on 15 November at 1pm to 2pm.

Linde Lunney, James Quinn and William Roulston are the editors of the recent publication ‘Transatlantic Lives: The Irish Experience in Colonial America’ (published August 2019), which features 60 biographical essays from the Royal Irish Academy’s Dictionary of Irish Biography. The book details the careers of a selection of Irish emigrants to Northern America including both the USA and the British territories that would later become Canada. Dr Lunney is a former researcher for the Dictionary of Irish Biography.
