Description
Set in 1960's Dublin, this one-man play explores the youth a man who would go on to become one of the most influential rock icons of the 70's and front the band Thin Lizzy.
The play is a direct address to the audience with Phil, in his late 20's, telling stories from his birth including the extreme hardships his mother, Philomena, went through to raise him as a single, Irish mother with a black baby during "No Blacks, No Dogs, No Irish" 1950's England, to growing up as the only black kid in 1960's Dublin, his discovery of music and poetry, first bands, first girlfriend and more, showing how they influenced him as an artist and shaped him into a rock legend and front man of Thin Lizzy.
