Family Focus Sessions at the Ulster Museum
Description
Learn something new and handle museum objects in free, family-friendly sessions in each of the Discovery Centres on the second Saturday and Sunday of the month!
The interactive Discovery Centres are a place to explore the museum collections in a different and exciting way. These family-focused sessions are drop-in and informal, providing the opportunity to touch and investigate objects on display. Some Centres will have activity-based exploration too.
The next family focus sessions will take place on Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th June. On Saturday 7th June, visit Discover Art to explore the wonders of crystals, drop into Discover Nature to learn about a two-headed calf skull and have a go at scrapbooking in Discover History. On Sunday 8th June, you can learn how to prepare to make art in the Discover Art Discovery Centre, find out all about Puffins in Discover Nature and explore vintage children's toys in Discover History.
Find Discover History on Level 1, Discover Nature on Level 3 and Discover Art on Level 5 of the Ulster Museum.
What to know:
- No booking needed.
- The Discovery Centres are open Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 17:00 and are free to visit on Levels 1, 3 and 5.
