Ireland’s biggest Community Arts Festival is back with its biggest and best line-up yet, with a series of massive outdoor concerts featuring Féile Dance Night, The Wolfe Tones and Boyzone.
Phil Coulter will be live in concert at the majestic Clonard Monastery and Féile’s Comedy Night features the best bits of Jake O’Kane, Tim McGarry and guests.
Irish boxing star Michael Conlan will face Vladimir Nikitin in a massive Féile Fight Night in the Falls Park which will be beamed live across the world.
There are over seventy-five Debates and Discussion events in the Féile Summer School programme including West Belfast Talks Back and ‘The Leaders Debate’, involving leadership figures from the main political parties in Ireland.
Fun and entertainment await all the family at the spectacular Féile Carnival Parade, Party in the Park and Teddy Bear’s Picnic.
As well as encouraging debate, Féile prides itself on entertaining, ensuring locals and visitors alike have a good time, and we have it in abundance at the new event space in the award-winning Falls Park, the new Comedy headquarters in The Devenish and Belfast’s Irish, Arts and Cultural Centre An Chultúrlann to name just a few entertainment venues. Like the wider Gaeltacht Quarter, all venues are accessible and welcoming, with up to 70,000 visitors expected throughout the Féile week, showcasing arts, culture and good relations in action.
So from the 1-11 August, get out and about within the community, experience a play for the first time, take in an exhibition, book onto a tour, dance away at a concert, simply immerse yourself in our Féile programme.
