Description

Join the Ulster Folk Museum’s Curator of Textiles for a series of one-day workshops exploring the museum’s costume collection.

Get a ‘behind the scenes’ look at hats, bags, shoes, pinafores, and aprons from 1850 to the present day. Pick up your needle and learn the skills and techniques behind their design. Basic sewing skills required.

Workshops include :-

  • Head to Toe: Bags of Style - 23 May
  • Head to Toe: Fancy Footwork - 22 August
  • Head to Toe: Pinnies & Pockets - 18 September
