Description
Iron & Wine makes a long-overdue return to Belfast, following the release of his seventh full-length album Light Verse earlier this year.
Iron & Wine spearheaded the indie folk revolution of the 00s, thanks to a string of critically acclaimed albums showcasing Sam Beam’s hushed vocals and intricate guitar work, including 2007’s modern classic The Shepherd’s Dog.
Light Verse is a lovingly handmade and incredibly self-assured record, with lyrics filled with personal insights, desperate characters and wide-eyed optimists, offering both promise and heartache.
