Making Christmas: Willow Decorations

Make your own willow Christmas decorations in this workshop at the Ulster Folk Museum with weaver, Bob Johnson, on Sunday 24th November.

Make festive stars, hearts and trees using willow grown and harvested at the Ulster Folk Museum. Learn about the heritage of willow weaving before being guided through this hands-on workshop.
You'll be provided with a tasty treat from Erin at The Edible Flower to fuel your creativity while you create your decorations. Start with some warm mulled apple juice to drink, before enjoying mini herb scones with lemon & dulse butter and Walter Ewings Smoked Salmon, followed by a Tunisian orange cake with Greek yoghurt.*
What to know
- Tickets include general admission to the Ulster Folk Museum so please come early or stay after the workshop to explore. The museum is open from 11:00 to 16:00 on the day of the workshop.
- No experience required and all materials provided.
