A day of genuine merriment – from festive markets to a traditional children’s lantern parade, Newtownards will be a magical place this November!

Seasonal family fun at its best in the heart of the town.

The Schedule :-

10am - 5pm - Ards Arts Centre
Creative Peninsula at the annual Christmas Fayre. Be inspired to purchase the perfect, unique, handcrafted Christmas gifts. Seasonal interludes, complimentary gift wrapping and festive refreshments.

10am - 6pm - Town centre
Enjoy festive treats and tick the items off your list as you wander through the Christmas market.

2pm and 7pm - Queen's Hall
Heart of Winter by Lyngo Theatre - Magical new musical show for ages 3+ (tickets must be purchased in advance) Find out more at visitbelfast.com

5.15pm - Lantern Parade
Santa and his sleigh will lead a lantern parade of children from local dance and Primary Schools. Route: Departs Molly Brown’s, South Street to Conway Square.

5.30pm Conway Square - Christmas Lights Switch On
Join Cool FM's Pete Snodden as he compees the evening and enterains the crowds before the Christmas light switch on.

The Mayor of Ards and North Down and Santa will officially welcome Christmas to the town, by turning on the tree lights.
