Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott are going on tour and stopping off at Belfast's most iconic venue, Ulster Hall!

Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott are going on tour and stopping off at Belfast's most iconic venue, Ulster Hall!

The duo have kept ties since their Beautiful South days and with plans to release their fourth studio album, Manchester Calling, they are going from strength-to-strength.

Paul Heaton is one of the UK’s most successful songwriters with 15 million album sales under his belt. He first came to public attention in the early 80s as frontman of The Housemartins, best known for their third single Happy Hour and their number one acapella Isley Bros cover Caravan Of Love.

After a short break, Heaton formed The Beautiful South in 1988, who went on to release ten hugely successful albums.

It was during this time that the duo now known as Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott became acquainted. Jacqui was with Beautiful South for six years, during which time she sang many of their signature hits including Rotterdam, Perfect 10, Don’t Marry Her and Dream A Little Dream’

It wasn't long after that they went on to release three acclaimed albums. With their new album, Manchester Calling, on the cards, this tour will be one of the best where fans can hear their favourites and the new from the acclaimed artists.
