Description

The Royal Economic Society invites members of the public to its free event on ‘Brexit, UK and Ireland.’ The event will focus on the challenges facing the economies of Ireland, both Northern Ireland as well as the Republic.

This event will focus on the challenges facing the economies of Ireland, both Northern Ireland as well as the Republic in 'Brexit, UK and Ireland'.

What economics challenges face Ireland and how can economists help solve them? In this event, a range of distinguished speakers from both side of the border, and inside and outside of academia, will discuss these challenges by giving a short presentation of their initial thoughts and then taking questions and taking part in the discussion that develops.  A view from both sides, delivered by:

  • Esmond Birnie, Ulster University
  • Stuart Anderson, CBI NI
  • Martina Lawless, ESRI
  • Stephen Kinsella, University of Limerick
