ROZKVET
Description
Argonaut Theatre present, 'Roxkvet' by Andrew McNeill.
Occupied Czechoslovakia, 1943: worlds collide as a captured Romani resistance fighter is interrogated by an SS officer and his Italian subordinate, aiming to find the location of her leaders. The ensuing struggle poses questions of prejudice, natural law and, ultimately, whether justice can ever truly be delivered? Rozkvet aims to bring awareness to the treatment of the Romani people by the Nazi regime and their role in anti-fascist resistance across Europe.
Note: this play contains themes of discrimination, suicide, and scenes of violence that some may find distressing.
