Description
Mr. Papers is a humorous character developed by mixed media artist Sue Cathcart.
Sue has been working in mixed media for 20 years: she works primarily with paper, particularly papier mâché, and makes collages and 3D pieces. She completed a Combined Arts Degree from St Martin’s College and has taught Creative Studies for many years before retraining as a literacy teacher which has further informed her work.
Mr. Papers is one of Sue’s most successful creations. In collaboration with 2 other anonymous members of the Mr. Papers Corporation, Sue produces cards and pictures that reflect the dissatisfaction Mr. Papers has with present day society and the intrusion by the government into private life!
These unique prints and cards are a perfect reminder of your trip to Belfast and the wit of the Irish!
