Spring at the Discovery Centres
Description
Celebrate Earth Day and enjoy a range of activities inspired by the Ulster Museum’s Wild Ireland exhibition in the Discovery Centres this spring.
From Saturday 12th April to Sunday 27th April, you can create your own Ichthyosaur to add to a collaborative artwork or explore a Wild Ireland-themed themed felt-wall in Discover Art. Invent your own Lost Monster and learn to decode the language of spring flowers in Discover History.
On Tuesday 22nd April, mark Earth Day in Discover Nature by learning about fossil fuels and renewable energy sources. Get hands-on with objects that demonstrate the impact of energy on local wildlife and the environment! The theme for Earth Day this year is ‘Our Power, Our Planet’. Get involved by pledging actions and getting creative through craft.
What to know:
- No booking needed.
- The Discovery Centres are open Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 17:00 and are free to visit on Levels 1, 3 and 5.
