Get out the glad rags, dust off the straw boater and get those dancing shoes ready - it's Steam and Jazz time!

Hop aboard the restored 1960s train at Lanyon Place Belfast, hauled by a vintage steam locomotive. Relax as you leave the city behind and enjoy the sounds of New Orleans jazz as you call at stations which could be anywhere on the Northern Ireland railway network.

The music this year is provided by the legendary Crescent City New Orleans Dixieland Jazz Band!

A bar will be available at one of the stations with a selection of drinks to purchase. At this time there is no dining car or bar on the train.

Passengers can also board at Whitehead Excursion Station (not the Northern Ireland Railways station) at 18.00. Input Whitehead Railway Museum to your Maps app for directions. Please state this when making your booking and contact the office to confirm via or 028 9358 6200.

Please ensure you are on the platform in good time to make the train as it is an extremely tight schedule and the train cannot be delayed for latecomers.

Due to the use of heritage vehicles, there will be limited accessibility access onboard. If passengers can transfer to their seat, you can use a ramp and store a foldable wheelchair onboard. Please make sure to inform the team of any mobility requirements when booking. Regrettably they cannot cater for electric wheelchairs or buggies. With the exception of guide dogs, animals are not permitted on the train.

23 September : You can expect a few surprises along the way as this will be the end of season extravaganza. Although they remain tight lipped about some things, you will end up in the picturesque seaside town of Whitehead, where you will be able to purchase fish and chips and ice cream on the platform before dancing the rest of the night away.

Please Note:

They can't offer any exchanges or refunds. Before buying tickets it's really important to double check all the event details and make sure you're 100% happy before going ahead.
