Portaferry will be celebrating the Ruffian 23 Yacht, Golden Jubilee. Opportunity to see these magnificent yachts in action, originally made in Portaferry, now worldwide racing yachts.

This event is sold out.

Take time away from the fast pace of everyday life and enjoy the splendour of Strangford Lough's scenery and fascinating wildlife. Leaving from Portaferry, see where St. Patrick first came ashore, view landscapes used in "Game of Thrones" filming, and be enthralled by stories of Viking raiders.

10% off lunch food bill, on the day of this tour only, for ticket holders in The Port Hotel in Portaferry. Pre-booking directly with restaurant is advisable, to avoid dissapointment.

  • Children are welcome, ticket applicable. No concessions.
  • U18's must be accompanied by at least one paying adult.
  • Please wear flat shoes and bring extra layers due to the nature of the trip.

By car: From Belfast/Newtownards follow A20 to Portaferry. Parking available at the Rope Walk car park near Exploris Aquarium.

By public transport: From Belfast/Newtownards Ulsterbus Service no 9 to Portaferry. See Translink for timetable.
