Summer Club – Young Adventurers Forest School
Description
Ballyburren Outdoor Escapes offer an excellent forest school for young intrepid adventurers.
The forest school is along a scenic 1.4km nature trail and is located approx. 10mins walk from the main car park. The forest school Ballynahinch is located in a dense beech tree woodland and has three tiers. The upper tier has a campfire area, mud kitchen and story circle. The middle tier is covered by a large roof and is all weather for crafting. The lower tier has a lots of play zones and sensory equipment with a short trail down to a small pond for fishing out swimming wildlife.
Their themed sessions include:
- Wild Tie Dying
- The Art of Fire Lighting
- Whittling- crafting with natures tools
- Tyrannosaurus Drip
- Den Building - Wild hideouts
- Woodland craft- Wood & bush skills
- Clay creations in the wild
Each session is 2hrs long based around the theme on the date. Please see their downloadable calendar on the booking page.
Young Adventurers is suitable for children 4 years old - 12 years old.
