Harbour and Company, Donaghadee

Harbour and Company’s ethos is about bringing great things together – quality produce, local flavours, and of course friendly warm service, this has ensured Harbour and Company is now a key destination in the local foodie’s map. Chef Paddy Rowan has put together a showcase menu that defines the character and flavours of Donaghadee and surrounding area. The featured producers here are Donaghadee’s own Copeland Distillery and Flavour First, Portavogie’s James Harris Fish Suppliers and innovative newcomers Peninsula Kelp. Hear the story behind the produce all with a scenic view of Donaghadee's historic harbour.

The Bull & Claw, Newtownards

The Bull & Claw in Newtownards is now an established local foodie hotspot renowned for being innovative with great quality local produce. Showcasing Ballyboley Dexter Beef, Clandeboye Yogurt and Glastry Farm Ice cream alongside our most recent new producer Modest Beer from Hollywood. A night to pay homage to three breeds of the humble cow that are found in Ards and North Down, being the Fresian Holsteins, Jerseys and the Dexter all of which are producing some of finest quality beef and dairy you'll find in Northern Ireland. Meet the makers and get to hear the stories behind them all, plus you’ll get to hear how the Bull & Claw came to be one of our best restaurants.

No 14 at the Georgian House, Comber
22 October 2020, 7pm
Chef Jim Mulholland, the proprietor of Comber’s No 14, is an influential advocate of local produce and a local expert at foraging. In the Comber edition of our local showcase Jim has put together a three course dinner that celebrates the food and drink of County Down. Local produce that will feature is kelp from Peninsula Kelp, whiskey from Echlinville Distillery, Pork from Stonebridge Cottage Farm outside Comber and more. Guests will also get to hear the stories behind the produce and hear how seasonality is key to Jim’s choices it the kitchen.
