Description

Join guides Sean Napier and Colm Dore on the #1798 Walking Tour and take a journey of enlightenment, inclusion and radicalism through the streets of Belfast.

Discover the real hidden history of Belfast, that not only shaped Ireland but the rest of the world. This entertaining and educational tour is sprinkled with humour to lighten things up along the way.

Starting at the entrance of St Georges Church, you will enjoy a gentle stroll that follows the footsteps of Theobald Wolfe Tone and Henry Joy McCracken as you learn about the founding of the first Society of United Irishmen in Crown Entry and the events that radicalised Belfast during the 18th century and beyond.

Be transported to 1798 and feel revolution in the air, every Saturday and Sunday from 11.30am - 2pm.
