Description

The History of the Troubles is a live, interactive, online experience created by the award-winning Belfast tour company DC Tours. This new experience and virtual tour is designed specifically for travellers who can’t travel right now but still want to discover the troubled history of Northern Ireland.

The History of the Troubles is a live two-hour online experience hosted by Paul Donnelly (Top UK Tour Guide 2019).  The experience is made up of two parts, a 60 minute audio visual presentation and virtual tour of Northern Ireland which will explain the history of the conflict that we know as the Troubles and also the path to peace.

This is followed by a fully interactive hour-long Q&A and discussion session where you can fully engage with Paul, ask questions and learn about our history from an entirely neutral and unbiased viewpoint.

The total experience will allow you to discover the events which led up to violence breaking out in the 1960s, the realities of growing up and living your life in the time, the peace and reconciliation work achieved in the last 20 years and what the future may bring.

Expect an enriching, amazing, engaging, educational and powerful experience.

This is an online event, hosted on Zoom by DC Tours.  To take part you will need a laptop or tablet and a stable internet connection. For more information visit deadcentretours.com or email cu@deadcentretours.com.
