Based in the historic Cathedral Quarter area of the city centre, the festival grew out of the novel idea of serving lunch with daytime shows.

Now a fully fledged arts festival running over 26 days, the award-winning event attracts some of the biggest names in Theatre, Comedy, Theatre and Music.

This year’s festival runs from January 4 – 26 and some of the highlights include include blues sensation Muireann Bradley, comedians Lucy Porter. Andrew maxwell, Shappi Khorsandi and Josie Long and an incredible music line-up including 808 state, Lindisfarne, Tim O’Brien, Landless and a live score of the hooor classic Nosferatu.

Afternoon shows cost £12 and include a lunch and the festival is known widely for it’s affordable tickets and friendly atmosphere.
