The Mercury and Brit nominated artist Tom McRae returned this year with his 9th album Étrange Hiver, which features duets with some of his favourite French artists.
McRae, who these days splits his time between France and England, collaborated on these 11 new songs as a way of acknowledging his “deep love of French music”.
Étrange Hiver is a beautiful album with songs, some in English, some in French, some cinematic, some more intimate, that address the important things in life: love, loss, political populism, and climate collapse... written at a time when it feels as if the world may never escape from this long, strange winter.
