Description
Bernstein’s Three Dance Episodes from On The Town start a riotous orchestral celebration that continues with Joe Chindamo’s new work, Ligeia.
Peter Moore takes on a no-holds-barred virtuoso showcase of all the trombone’s sonorities, from its melodic tenderness to its capacity to bend, growl and swing as if on-stage at Ronnie Scott’s or Birdland – it's the party you won’t want to miss! We also plunge into the romantic melodies and vivid orchestral colours of Rachmaninoff’s symphonies this Season, starting with the darkly fiery Symphony No. 1.
