Young Musicians’ Showcase
Description
Featuring performances by this year's Camerata Ireland Academy young musicians with pianist Dearbhla Brosnan.
The Camerata Ireland Academy is Camerata Ireland's young artist development programme and takes place during the Clandeboye Festival each year. Up to 12 exceptional young musicians are selected to attend by audition, and, over the course of a week, they work with the festival's international guest artists in masterclasses and rehearsals, performing in the Young Musicians Showcase on 19th August. Full scholarships are available to attend, including tuition and full board, thanks to the generous support of the Arts Council of Northern Ireland, the Dufferin Foundation and private donations. The Clandeboye Festival takes place from 16th-23rd August in the historic surroundings of the Clandeboye Estate Co. Down.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Programmes are subject to change. Where there is an unavoidable artist or programme change, all ticket holders will be notified by email in advance.
- Ample free parking is available on site at Clandeboye
- All seating is unreserved and doors open 30 minutes before the performance starts
- A Festival Saver ticket is available for the duration of the Festival offering a 20% discount on ticket prices, a free festival programme and reserved seating in the first 3 rows.
- Friends of Camerata Ireland can reserve seating for all performances by emailing office@camerata-ireland.com
- The bar is open for evening performances only
- Light lunch and tea/coffee is available to purchase in Dendron Lodge prior to lunchtime concerts on Monday-Friday from 12-1pm
- Advance booking is recommended (and there is no fee to book online), but tickets will be available to purchase on the door subject to availability
- We regret that it is not possible to issue refunds for tickets purchased, but tickets can be changed to another concert subject to availability. Please email office@camerata-ireland.com.
