Mental Health (27 May) - Explore this theme as playfully or deeply as you like through making comic strips, illustrated poems, mock newspaper articles, visual journal entries...whatever you like! Through this informal zine session, a special emphasis will be placed on mindfulness and the sense of wellbeing achieved through drawing and craft. All supplies provided.
A Diverse City Zine-making (01 July) - In this drop-in zine-making workshop we will explore diversity through our own cultural heritage. We invite you to think about the physical places and objects that have meaning to you. We will explore stories, songs, and celebrations that have meaning to you enabling you to create your own zine.
These zine-making workshops are part of our community-led exhibition At The Table where everyone is invited to take a seat At The Table to discuss and get creative around some of the most pressing issues our society faces today.
At The Table aims to challenge who is and isn’t invited to “the table” where decisions that determine our lives are made.
