How Eat Out to Help Out works

When eating in at a café, restaurant or gastro pub/bar, you can get 50% off food or non-alcoholic drinks

  • every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday between 3 and 31 August
  • to a maximum discount of £10 per person
  • as many times as you like

You do not need a voucher to use this scheme and you may be able to use it at the same time as other offers and discounts (please check with the establishment). There is no minimum spend. You cannot claim discount on alcoholic drinks or service charges.

The discount will be automatically applied by the participating restaurants, cafes and gastro pubs/bars on billing. Establishments will then claim a reimbursement from the government for the discount they’ve given you.

Advance booking is advised and some establishments may require a deposit to secure the booking. If you’ve booked and can no longer make it, don’t forget to call to cancel so the restaurant can use your space for other visitors.
