Description

You may not be able to visit the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park but they can come to you (virtually that is)!

Irish FA Tours have selected some of the most interesting stories from their 140-year history to discuss during a virtual workshop aimed at schools and groups.

They include William McCrum: The Inventor of the Penalty Kick and Patrick O’Connell: ‘Saviour’ of FC Barcelona – and they will also be reliving some of their biggest achievements, including World Cup qualifications and more recently their Euro 2016 adventure.

This fun virtual session gives an insight into the rich history of the Irish Football Association and Northern Ireland’s contribution to the world of football, inspiring the next generation of football and sports fans.

Although not quite the same as a visit to the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park, these 45-minute sessions are informative and engaging, offering an opportunity to forget current restrictions and immerse yourself in the beautiful game.

The cost per session is £75 + VAT (per group of 30).

Sessions are run on Zoom or MS Teams.
