Description

Audio. Visual. Arts. Festival & Conference celebrates the strong current of electronic music & visual arts. 2+3 June 2023 - Belfast.

Belfast’s foremost electronic and visual arts festival returns for 2023, following a huge year at the idyllic Titanic Slipways in the heart of the city’s docklands. Featuring renowned international artists alongside the finest local DJ’s and live acts, talent will be showcased in the stunning audio/visual style that has become synonymous with the festival’s summer starting weekender.

In 2022 AVA was described as ”one of the world’s most exciting electronic music festivals” by Mixmag, this year will see AVA push the boundaries of electronic music further than ever before whilst also providing a broader offering of genres with each iteration of the festival to reflect the increasingly diverse sound of the city.

AVA Festival has been the first large-scale music event to represent a modern Belfast, promoting the growing cultural movement in Northern Ireland and beyond. AVA supports local artists by providing them a platform along with some of the world’s most celebrated musicians, they also provide valuable opportunities for work, education and networking for those wanting to break into the industry. AVA has helped to support culture and community, creating an inclusive, vibrant, and celebrated space for talent to be nurtured from their DJ competitions to volunteer opportunities and work programmes. We look forward to another year with AVA at the center of Ireland’s thriving music movement.
