Perfect for a family stroll while looking at the local flora and fauna, Balloo Wetland Nature Reserve has a range of wildlife and plant life.
The reserve has several distinct habitats, including woodland, scrub, grassland, pond and reedbeds which provide a sanctuary for a range of plants and animals, and there is evidence of otter activity on the site.
With its network of paths and boardwalks, as well as a picnic area and information panels, the nature reserve provides easy access for a range of visitors.
