Visited by King Charles in May 1999, the horses are the heart and soul of this South Antrim operation.

There is also self-catering apartments at the farm and an organic shop.

At Ballylagan Trail Rides, the horses have been highly trained and they also provide fitted helmets, riding boots and a familiarisation in the arena before you head out.

Products they offer as follows:

  • 1hr Off-road Trail for beginners right up to advanced

  • 2hr and 3hr Forest Trail for the experienced rider

  • 1hr Beach Ride from May to end of October
