Description

Serving great coffee and delicious food in Belfast City Hall, one of Northern Ireland's most iconic buildings.

Operated by Loaf Catering and Cafes, the café provides 15 training and work experience places each week for people with a learning disability, autism or Asperger's. All of the café's profits go to its parent organisation NOW Group, a social enterprise supporting people with learning difficulties and autism in jobs with a future. Please remember this when considering where to dine in the city centre.

The café's menu has plenty of variety to choose from - breakfast options include Irish wheaten bread with hot smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, breakfast floured bap with sausage, smoked bacon and black pudding, creamy porridge with honey, buttermilk pancakes with mixed fruit berries and maple syrup or toasted granola with natural yogurt and berries.

For lunch, why not try the customer favourite Loaf's famous traditional pork sausage roll (voted best in Belfast) with homemade secret recipe relish? Other favourites include the traditional Irish beef stew served with homemade wheaten bread, seasonal soup of the day served with a selection of fresh artisan breads or homemade quiche of the day with salads. There's also a range of freshly made sandwiches, salad bowls, daily specials and a menu for kids too.

If you're looking for something sweet, try afternoon tea for two. There is also an extensive range of yummy pastries, buns, traybakes and cake slices available as well as a variety tea and coffee options.

The Bobbin café also has a section for group bookings – get in touch to check availability.

The Bobbin has a five star ‘Scores On The Door' rating as awarded by the Food Standards Agency as well as a Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor for consistently good reviews. A hearing loop has also been installed at the café for customers who use hearing aids.
