Description

Packed full of information on EastSide's key attractions, famous faces and places. Come in and sample local delicacies from Jack Coffee Bar.

Located on the Newtownards Road, in the heart of east Belfast, EastSide Visitor Centre provides all the information you need to discover the wealth of visitor experiences on offer in EastSide.

East Belfast was once the beating heart of the city's industrial past with thousands of people employed in the linen mills, rope factories, engineering works and shipyards. Whilst these mills may have now closed and factories been replaced by housing, EastSide is now thriving once again but this time as a hub of culture and creativity.

EastSide boasts some of Belfast's most renowned cafes, bars and restaurants making the area popular amongst locals and attracting those in search of authentic Belfast experiences.

With a number of self-guided trails, starting and finishing from EastSide Visitor Centre, you can either walk in the footsteps of George Best's childhood, soak up the scenery which inspired some of Van Morrison's most famous songs or visit St Mark's Church where C.S. Lewis was christened in January 1899.
