Experience Ards is a series of guided tours to help you explore Strangford Lough and the Ards Peninsula.

This popular programme includes walking, coach and boat tours escorted by experienced guides. You can take a boat trip on Strangford Lough from Portaferry, visit the Copeland Island Bird Observatory from picturesque Donaghadee Harbour or experience the historic sites of Newtownards, Comber and Donaghadee on one of our regular walking tours.


The coach tours include visits to stately homes, Christian heritage sites and famous gardens of the Peninsula. You can also discover the rich Ulster Scots heritage of the area, explore the art and craft studios for which the Ards Peninsula is renowned or have fun on a Halloween Ghost tour or a murder mystery evening.
