Northern Ireland's premier theatre presenting an outstanding programme of drama, opera, dance, comedy, musicals, family shows and much more.
A favoured venue by both international companies and local producers, the Grand Opera House has been part of Belfast's vibrant theatre scene for over 100 years, providing quality entertainment, unforgettable experiences and vital outreach programs that allow the Theatre to engage with the local community and ignite a love of theatre in young and old alike.
The brand new season brochure from the Grand Opera House contains the final shows playing before the Theatre’s exciting restoration plans get underway in 2020.
This season, enjoy the laughs and soaring musical highs of Northern Ireland Opera’s latest production, Johann Strauss’ Die Fledermaus, hark back to the disco days of the 70s with the return of Saturday Night Fever or soak in the showbiz with Cabaret.
The National Theatre returns to the Grand Opera House with a new superb production of Shelagh Delaney’s gritty drama A Taste of Honey, and there’s musical delights with On Your Feet! the story of Emilio and Gloria Estefan and comedy crime caper Curtains starring all-round funny-man Jason Manford.
And of course, Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without the Grand Opera House Pantomime. This year’s production, Beauty & the Beast has seen record sales, so be quick to get the seats you want!
